As you walk into Knockreer Estate, now part of Killarney National Park you will notice the beautiful Deenagh Cottage. Built in 1837, it now is home to a quaint little café and makes a unique backdrop for picture perfect photographs. Definitely the jewel in the crown of Killarney is its Killarney National Park. Here, you will see herds of Irish red deer roam freely. Start off your journey at the audiovisual show at Muckross House.
Within 10kms
As you travel along the N71 towards Kenmare, take a detour to see the spectacular cascade of Torc Waterfall. After heavy rains, the water foams and violently falls over the 60 foot rock face. As you come down the steps from the waterfall, you will get to a wonderful viewing point overlooking the beautiful and breathtaking Killarney Valley and Lakes.

The Lake Hotel is located on Muckross Road, just 2km from Killarney town on the Kenmare Road.
From Shannon Airport
From Shannon Airport take the N18 to Limerick then take the N21 and pick up the N23 and 22 to Killarney. When in Killarney follow the signs for Kenmare or the N71. 1.5 miles on this road on the right hand side you will find the Lake Hotel
From Kerry International Airport (20min)
Leaving the airport turn left (N23) drive one mile and left again in Faranfore. Now follow the N22 to Killarney. When in Killarney follow the signs for Kenmare or the N71. 1.5 miles on this road on the right hand side you will find the Lake Hotel
From Cork Airport
After leaving the airport head left at the large Roundabout when you leave the airport complex. One mile and a half turn left on the South Ring and keep straight for the N22 which will bring you to Killarney. When close to Killarney turn left where the traffic calming is. Head straight on untill you find the traffic lights turn left and were on the right hand side 1.3 miles. The Lake Hotel and now you will start to really enjoy your stay in Kerry.
